Event organisers
Are you passionate about bringing people together and making a positive impact in your community? Do you have creative ideas and organisational skills to plan and deliver engaging events? If so, we need you!
We are looking for volunteers to join our event organising team and help us create a programme of fun and meaningful events throughout the year.
You don’t need any previous experience in event organising, just enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn. You will receive training and support from our friendly team.
As an event organiser, you can:
Plan events that align with our group’s aims and values, such as seasonal celebrations, charity fundraisers, members meet-ups and more.

Manage budgets, timelines, health & safety requirements and other aspects of event planning and delivery.
​
Work with our marketing team to promote our events to the wider community and attract new members.
​
Help to create a community calendar that showcases our events and activities.
Recruit and coordinate volunteers to help out at our events.
​
Evaluate the success of our events and collect feedback from participants.
You can choose how much time you want to commit and what kind of events you want to create for your community.
